Explore Batavia: The Quarry

Quarry Beach BataviaThe Quarry Beach is located in a former stone quarry along the banks of the Fox River. It has a huge pool area of over 60,000 sf with islands, slides, and a diving area. The sand bottom is perfect for little ones to play on in the zero-depth shallow end.

There is also a playground, volleyball court, and a locker room. The concession stand has pizza, hotdogs, ice cream and cold drinks. When my kids were little I always packed a cooler of healthy food and we ate lunch at one of the picnic tables in the shade.

The pool is open 12:00 – 6:00 pm every day from June 1 to August 19. Residents pay $7 per person, non-residents are $10. There is a twilight special on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 5:00 – 7:00 pm with entrance fees at $3 for residents and $6 for non-residents.
