ST. CHARLES

St Charles is located in Kane County about 40 miles west of Chicago. Incorporated in 1834, St. Charles is now a bustling community of 37,000 people. St. Charles has a wide variety of amenities including shops, specialty restaurants and cultural art venues. St. Charles was named Family Circle Magazine’s #1 Town for Families in 2011.

People who live in St. Charles usually refer to living downtown, on the East side or the West side of the Fox River. The Village of Campton Hills was incorporated a few years back on the far western edge of St. Charles.
