BARTLETT

The Village of Bartlett is located about 35 miles west of Chicago. Founded in the 1850s, the Village is now a vibrant community with a population of 41,000 people. Bartlett is located on one of the train lines that run directly to downtown Chicago. People choose Bartlett as a great place to raise a family because of the good schools, many parks and friendly atmosphere.

Downtown Bartlett offers small shops and some great restaurants. It’s small enough to walk between the different shopping areas. The Farmers Market is held at the Village Hall and is open from June 1 through September 15.

The Bartlett Park District is widely admired for it’s facilities and programs, especially the Bartlett Community Center which includes the Aquatic Center with it’s indoor and outdoor pools. The LifeCenter Health and Fitness Club has state of the art equipment and many different classes. The Park District also operates a great pre-school program. The Park District also maintains several golf courses, athletic fields, and tennis courts.
